A Day in the Life of An Au Pair Might Include
Accompanying your host child(ren) to school with the family's driver and reading them stories during the ride.
Engaging in games, singing, dancing, and story reading with the host child(ren).
Planning and conducting English lessons, including reading, phonics, and vocabulary.
Assisting the host child(ren) with their English homework.
Accompanying the family's driver to pick up the host child(ren) from school and playing vocabulary games on the way home.

Responsibility
English tutoring is the primary reason Chinese host families seek an au pair. As an au pair, your main roles will be to serve as an English tutor and an older sibling to the children, rather than performing housekeeping duties, as most families have a housekeeper. You will also have the chance to immerse yourself in authentic Chinese culture by participating in family activities.
